By placing an order with us you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions, which apply to all purchases from The Shropshire Gift Company. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
To comply with the European Union (EU) Directive on Distance Selling, the following terms and conditions must be agreed to before your order can be processed. These terms and conditions for the sale of goods will govern any contract for sale that we jointly enter into and tell you the rights and obligations you have. You may have other rights granted by law and these terms and conditions do not affect these. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ordering from The Shropshire Gift Company
By placing your order you are offering to buy the goods and permitting us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details to couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may request that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address below.
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. Payment by credit or debit card will be deducted from your card account before the goods ordered are dispatched, and this will usually be within twenty-four hours of the goods being sent. Goods remain the property of The Shropshire Gift Company until we have received payment in full. All prices and offers are subject to change and availability.
Personalised Items
Please ensure you enter personalisation text carefully as any errors will be duplicated onto your order.
Where text has been entered wrongly by the customer, we will not be held responsible for the cost of remaking the order.

The Shropshire Gift Company makes no claim as to the benefits arising from the products sold on the site, in all its forms. Products bought from The Shropshire Gift Company are used entirely at your own risk. The Shropshire Gift Company cannot be held responsible for losses caused by the use of any of the products it supplies, howsoever arising.
Payment Options
The Shropshire Gift Company accepts payment through Nochex which includes the ability to order using most credit and debit cards and uses a secure payment system.
All credit card transactions are undertaken using SSL encryption. We endeavor to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose online. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and dealing over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or willful default.
Confirmation of Orders
An invoice will accompany goods to the purchaser's address. In the unlikely event of us being unable to fulfill an order or part of an order, or if there are any errors in a placed order, we will advise you as soon as possible. If payment has been made on an order that we are unable to fulfill we will immediately refund payment by the same method as it was made.
VAT
The prices shown on the product pages include UK VAT where applicable at the current rate. Local taxes and duties outside the EU are the responsibility of the purchaser or recipient in the country of destination.
Delivery within the mainland UK
The products on the site are subject to a charge for packing and shipping which is based as follows.
Up to £49.99 - £3.99
£50.00 upwards FREE
This charge will be added when you place your order and it may be viewed when you check out your order.
Valuable items for delivery within the UK may be sent by courier and will require a signature on delivery. Other items are usually sent by two-to-three-day 'signed for' postal service.
Delivery outside the mainland UK
Goods ordered for overseas delivery will be sent by courier. Carriage will be invoiced at cost separately and the expected delivery date notified by email at the time of dispatch. for pricing of non UK mainland and international deliveries, please contact us here.
Occasionally we may deliver the goods in several consignments but if this is the case we will not charge extra shipping for this. If we have not dispatched the goods within thirty days of expected delivery, you may cancel the contract. We will refund any money paid by you.
Non Delivery
If your order is returned through non delivery, for example, not collected from sorting office, refused acceptance or incorrect address supplied, we will, at your request, resend the order and charge for the additional delivery costs incurred
Product Guarantees and Returns Policy
Please inspect the goods when you receive them and notify us as soon as possible if there are any problems. We will always endeavor to replace or refund your purchase in full if goods are defective or damaged.
If you are unhappy with any of our products, please return them to us within seven days in a saleable condition and at your expense, and we will refund any unused items. Please contact us for instructions before returning any used goods. Be sure to include your full contact details with any returns.
If you are a UK consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract and receive a refund, provided that the goods are returned undamaged and complete, together with the relevant packaging, in an unused and resaleable condition. You must return the goods to us at your cost and ensure that they are adequately insured during their return.
If you wish to cancel, please write to us at the address below. We require all cancellation requests in writing, by email or post, within seven working days from the day after you receive the goods from us.
We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any costs to collect the goods if required, within thirty days from the day on which we receive your notice of cancellation in writing. Refunds for valid claims will be made via the same method of payment used to place the order.
Please be sure to include with all returns your name, daytime telephone number and order number, together with the reason for the return.

We will do our best to send out our products within seven days. We will honour and appreciate your orders but please allow up to twenty-eight days for delivery.
